This food walking tour of Agios Nikolaos was a wonderful experience. Being on this tour with Lidia quickly felt like a friend showing you around the place they love rather than an organised tour. The food was delicious and the stories and information just lovely. The 4 hours passed by in a flash. It’s a great idea to do this tour early in your trip to the area as you get to experience some of the best restaurants early on, and information about where else to try.
Lidia just makes this tour. She’s a really wonderful host.

We enjoyed Lydia’s low key approach and her love of Crete. While she introduced us not only to foods and drinks of Crete but also to the crafts, we did not feel pushed to make unplanned purchases. The pacing of the tour was relaxed but not sluggish. We are glad that we took the tour with Lydia.
