This was a wonderful experience and I absolutely recommend that you book it! The team here takes wonderful care of their animals and respects each and every rider. They will customize the horse choice to your level of expertise as well as comfort level on a horse. We had a large group the day I went and one of the first questions as was if any one was scared which was followed by “it’s okay to be scared, we’ve got you”. I thought that was really amazing bc others places could have easily turned someone away if they were scared. If you have time while visiting Santorini I highly encourage you to book this experience!

This is truly a once in a lifetime experience. Firstly, my partner and I do not have riding experience and found Zsanett’s introduction and mini lesson before we got started really helpful. Nicholas took us for the ride and we felt safe the entire time and even began to grow more confident throughout the ride. We took a ride passing through vineyards on the way to the beach. The vineyards then gave way to this incredible sandstone path which opened onto the gorgeous beach. On the way back to the stables we rode through a beautiful small village. We enjoyed chatting to Nicholas and learning about the island and his experience. The star of course were the horses – beautiful, playful, strong, and really well looked after. Truly incredible experience and the highlight of our time in Santorini.

We had a truly eventful horseback ride to the Black Beach and we don’t want to miss this experience. Had a great guide who was eager to get ready for a great time. Drinks were also provided. For absolute beginners, I may find the horseback ride a bit long, as you are on the hard floor most of the time and are only about 15 minutes on the beach with a slightly softer floor. If you’re untouched, you might be able to feel it for a few more days. My mother then had some haemats and couldn’t sit for 2 days, but Zsanett assured us that this was “a personal problem” my mother and has never happened before. Probably we were really just unlucky. Despite all this, we recommend the tour and would book it again. Being so close to the horses was a special experience for us. Thank you for that!
